To draft your legal documents, our PHP-secured system collects:
- Full Current & New Names
- Date & Place of Birth
- Current Nationality
- Full Postal Address
3. Lawful Basis for Processing
Our lawful basis for processing your data is Contractual Necessity.
We cannot fulfill our contract to provide a legal Deed Poll without processing the personal details required to make that document valid in the eyes of UK authorities.
4. Retention & The "Purge" Policy
Unlike other services, we do not believe in keeping your sensitive identity data indefinitely.
- Active Orders: Data is kept for 30 days post-dispatch to allow for reprints or error corrections.
- Permanent Records: After 30 days, your specific birth details and "Previous Name" details are permanently deleted from our servers.
- Financial Records: We retain only the transaction ID and your name for 6 years as required by UK Tax Law (HMRC).
